How Do I Get More Traffic For My Blog? How do I go about contacting blog owners for a link exchange? Do I place a link to their blog first on my blog and then ask them for a reciprocal link? Are their any decent blog communities? I think I have done the basics, but need to learn more.

Well there is Alexa which can tell you how many people are visiting the site. But I’m pretty sure there are ways for the owner of the domain to inflate the data on Alexa if they really want to. You could also look at services like sedo that do appraisals, there are probably a few of these that include the Alexa rankings and keyword rankings in the appraisal. Hope this helps.
