What is web 3.0 ? How it is different from web 2.0

Nothing and/or anything.

Even web 2.0 doesn’t really mean anything and is mostly just marketing speak but there is at least somewhat of a consensus on its definition (a website that’s community driven or in some way interactive).

There is no consensus on web 3.0’s definition though. There is just a lot of people trying to label a lot of different things as it and an assumption that since the term web 2.0 is popular there must be a web 3.0 sooner or later. Its whatever the next internet trend or innovation may be.
